We had a really great day on Hilton Head Island! Clint was off these past three days (before going back tomorrow and begins 12 days straight of work), and it was so nice to be altogether as a family on HHI one last time before we leave. We had some friends with us who have a little girl around Carter's age; it was great to see them running around and being silly together!
After the beach, we ate lunch at Wild Wing Cafe (our HHI tradition), stopped at Rita's at Coligny Plaza (another HHI tradition) for some sweet treats, and stopped at a park for some playground fun for the kids (and maybe for the adults too).
Later at home, after we put Carter to bed, Clint and I sat on the back patio with our super small grill and pop-up captain chairs, and we roasted marshmallows for smores. It was nice to just enjoy each other's presence as the sun went down. So simple, so tacky, so perfect. :)
