OK, in case you didn't know, we haven't had a dining room table for about two months (long story), so we have been looking around for a really good deal on a table and chairs that we could refurbish. On Monday morning right before we sold Clint's truck (another long story), I picked up this not-so-pretty table and chairs for $35. Here are the before pictures:
Well, after some sanding and painting, this is what we now have.
I love it, love it! The distressing turned out really nice! Next time Clint is off we will tackle the coffee table with the same cream color and distressing as the table top. In the meantime, I have more creative work to do that I will post as soon as I'm done. Happy creating!

omigosh! it looks incredible!!! i'm now going to surf craigslist to do us a new table lol! those are the EXACT paints i'd want to paint mine lol! i love that! what paint brand/colors did ya use?

ReplyDeleteWe used Olympic Interior Satin Latex paint in Aqua Smoke and Plantation Moss and covered that with MinWax Polyurethane in Clear Satin.
I saw from your profile that you're from NC. We can't wait to be in Wake Forest this August!
We also re-did our coffee table. I'll post those pics once I'm done with all of my living room projects.
