Here's the last project for a little while. I wanted to spruce up our kitchen for our new (read: small, compact, or what realtors call "quaint") home this August. So I did a couple of easy, cheap additions and embellishments here and there. Check it out:
Like I said, it was very easy, just cutting out some cups from fabric and sewing them on to the towels and curtains. The photos will go up in our new kitchen. I got the photos from a Google search, made sure the resolutions were large enough, and had Snapfish do the rest of the photo work. I spray painted the frames ($1 each at Dollar Tree) and TA-DAAA!
I want to get some vintage canisters for the counter, so I'll be cruising etsy, ebay, yard sales, and thrift stores for a set. I think I will paint and embellish one of my old vases for flowers on the table.
Now I'm taking a little creative break since my sister's bridal shower is coming up, so I will be saving some creative energy for that. I also want to post some thought-provoking (these cute projects are not thought-provoking?!) posts in the next couple of weeks that have been swimming around in my head. Honestly, these projects have enabled me to not think about all the crazy life stuff that I haven't wanted my mind to register yet. So, back to real life...starting tomorrow. For tonight - The Office reruns on TBS.
Des cute! Hey go to habersham and victory there is an antique store with tons of vintage canisters the sets run like 40$ though so... Rachel and I just went there and died cause we wanted to own the house and everything in it. Except the stinky rugs. Love the sewing jarb! you are more patient than me!!!
