To etsy or to not etsy...

As some of you know, I have an etsy shop where I sell felt flower pins, collage magnets, and every now and then vintage goodies.  Well, with how busy we'll be in a couple of months with returning to school and--wait a minute while I take a deep breath in--going back to work (there I said it, that wasn't too bad), I decided to not renew or add items as I begin the process of closing down my shop.

I actually wasn't very sad when I came to this decision about a month ago (my etsy buyers loved it too because everything in my shop is 50% off).  This isn't what I want to do my whole life, and I'm totally content with being an etsy buyer (I can sit forever "pouncing" on the site).  Problem solved.  Answer delivered in a pretty gift box with a complimentary (yet not matchy-matchy) bow.

Boy, was I wrong.

Last week, I made some collage magnets for friends and family, and I remembered how much I really enjoy making them.  I get to really be creative with vintage clipart and backgrounds.  I get to show how quirky and witty I am with phrases or quotes (and yes, even with scripture).  They're very versatile; they can be used as magnets, bookmarks, framed in a series as artwork, etc.  On top of all that, they are so incredibly easy to make.  So, once we have everything established in Wake Forest, and if life doesn't seem that chaotic, I may continue with collage magnets and accessories.  The felt flowers will only be for friends or family.  They just take too long to make and the supplies are more expensive.

Enjoy some of my favorites:
