Our new awesome pillows by me!

OK, they aren't 100% by me because I did buy the orange pillow covers on eBay.  I made a pillow with an M (for our last name) on it with three buttons sewn on (me, Clint, and Carter).  I also made one for Carter with a C on it.  My favorite one is the one on our bed.  I printed out a picture of me and Clint from a couple years ago (actually five years ago--WOW), cut our silhouette out, and used that as a template when I cut it from scrap fabric.  It looks so good!

Well, how much did it cost?  Here's the breakdown:
Four orange pillow covers from eBay - $15
Templates from clip art online - FREE
Scrap fabric - FREE
Thread and buttons from my stash - FREE
Fabric glue I already had - FREE
Poly-fil stuffing - $9
Fray Block - $5

TOTAL - $29 (so $7.25 a pillow!)

Oh, just wanted to show you a picture of what I got in the mail today.  I ordered a #12 1.5-inch attachment comb for our hair clippers to cut Carter's hair (I like it more shaggy than crew cut); I think this is the largest attachment in existence.  I really didn't expect it to be so big!  It looks like a prop from Edward Scissorhands or a lost robotic hand from a Transformer.  I have a feeling that Carter might be a little difficult when he realizes that we want to cut his hair with this.
