So, we're moving again...

In less than three weeks, we’ll be shuffling our stuff again.  How far away?  About a ¼-mile down the road in another seminary neighborhood.  It will be newer (most of the time I like older but not where we currently live) and a little bigger in order to accommodate our growing family.  We’re very ready since a number of fun mishaps (insert sarcasm) have been coming up recently in our current home.  Carter is as ecstatic as a three-year old can be about having stairs in the new house. (Carter with multiple excited gestures: “I will carry Caden up the stairs and show him how to go down the stairs!” Me with a robot-mom smile: “Uh, no.”)

I usually like to change décor here and there and now especially with the perfect excuse of an upcoming move, but I’m trying to be smart by moving our existing stuff around and only having to buy a couple of things.  My crazy organizing self has been in overdrive with the planning (lists, price comparisons).  I can’t wait to post some pictures once we move in.  Maybe some before and after photos would be good, “Old House Before” and “New House After.”

By the way, that dumb Pinterest is so going to get me into trouble.  All the ideas and visual eye candy can really inspire someone (read: waste a lot of time online).  The Pin to Pinterest iPad app has made it easier to browse when I’m using Wi-Fi out and about.  Clint thinks Pinterest is stupid but admits the Food category is pretty neat.

I have been a terrible poster on the blog.  I am going to start scheduling time in so that I won’t slack off.

Peace out.

  1. I hope it's an easy move and you all enjoy your new home!!! Try not to have a heart attack when Carter becomes a dare devil on the stairs!!! "Hey mom, watch this......."

  2. I refuse to look at Pinterest. I have too much to do, and I don't need anything internet addiction. I'm excited about the move to a (hopefully bigger) newer place! Let me know if I can do anything to help with the moving process (even if it means I have to kidnap Carter for an afternoon or something).
