Christmas Toy Chest at Bayleaf

We got all of this for less than $18:

Canon 12.1 megapixel PowerShot camera (brand new)
Imaginext helicopter gift set (brand new)
Alphie the Educational Robot (brand new)
Hotwheels race track rug (brand new)
Mr. Potato Head set (gently used)
2 model cars with opening doors and hoods (gently used)
Batman action figure (unopened)
2 Thomas the Train books (gently used)
Fisher Price Little People book (gently used)

How?  The Christmas Toy Chest at Bay Leaf Baptist Church this morning.  It was our first time at the annual event!  Bay Leaf collects these toys throughout the year, so that Southeastern students can buy gifts for their children for 90% OFF!  The proceeds go to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  We even won the Canon PowerShot camera in their raffle (and we never win anything)!

We are so thankful to the members of Bay Leaf who put this together each year.  It was a lot of fun!  We are pinching pennies everywhere, so it was so nice to get some great things for Carter for Christmas without having a family meeting in the middle of Target concerning what items will need to be taken out of the cart before check-out (which happens during every visit).

This makes me want to take out the Christmas tree now.  :)
