Wow, we have been busy! I feel like we've been here so long (11 days). Here's what we've been up to in just the past couple of days:
- Visited our first church and looking forward to visiting the other great churches in the area.
- Carter got sick (just runny nose and coughing here and there).
- Met with an amazing new friend that will take care of Carter (class for us starts 8/19, and his preschool doesn't start until 9/7).
- We passed our tests for our driver's licenses (they come in the mail).
- Clint interviewed for a job that he pretty much has unless one of his references forgets who he is.
- Came to the conclusion that as soon as income is coming in again, we will have to get that cheap cable package with the 20 channels for $12/month because our digital antenna signal goes out if there's a breeze outside.
- Went to the North Carolina Museum of Art (Surprisingly, Carter was interested with the American and European portraits and scenes).
- Clint passed his English Placement Exam meaning he doesn't have to take a remedial English class and has started orientation (I go on Monday).
- Met with an awesome friend who graduated from Southeastern this past spring with the same degree I'm pursuing.
That's what I can remember right now; I know I've missed somethings. All I know is that I'm so thankful to God for getting us here. It feels so right!
