Our humble abode

Well, here's the first glimpse of our lives here in Wake Forest.  On Facebook, I said I was going to have these pictures of our new home up earlier in the week.  Sorry I'm so late.  Here they are:

As you can see, our duplex is on a hill.  It's very "hilly" here.  This is a lot of fun when we have a trunk load of groceries.  Actually, I kind of like the steps and hills; I take the steps two at a time or take the hill at the steepest incline because that satisfies the seven-year old in me (until I fall which Clint thinks is inevitable).

Let's go in!

Yes, there's Clint's legs (I promise he's wearing shorts).  Carter is having a temper tantrum.

As well as getting everything in its place, we have been busy exploring the area and applying, applying, applying for jobs (IF I HAVE TO TAKE ONE MORE ONLINE JOB ASSESSMENT, I'M GOING TO...just keep doing it because I have to).

Honestly, I am very thankful right now.  God is good.  This is where we should be.  I'm excited to see what's around the corner!

NEXT WEEK:  The DMV...

  2. Kristel, thanks so much for the info!

We're excited to visit the area's churches! I'm looking forward to visiting the North Raleigh campus next month!

I really like the Raleigh area especially Wake Forest. The last time I made a major move was from Miami to the Savannah area when I was 12, so this move was overdue!

Excited to start classes soon and see what God has in store for us!
