I just can't leave stuff alone

Yes, it is true that I really can't let things slide when I can put my two cents in (my husband would say that's an understatement), but this is an "improvement" of a different sort, a creative one (my favorite kind).

I bought a day planner yesterday, and there was no way I could just leave the cover all solid and boring.  So I did this:

Just some clip art, Modge Podge, and creativity.  I love my Mr. Ostrich Gentleman graphic; I've used him before for collage items in my etsy shop.

I also decided my blog needed a makeover.  Shay Bocks of Dumplin Design Studio did a fabulous job redesigning my blog.  She wanted to know exactly what I wanted and was very thorough.  Check out her portfolio; you will love her work!

Looking forward to our church's Secret Sister Big Reveal Tea at the Whimsical Teacup tomorrow.  All I know is that the decor is ALL pink (kind of scares me).  I'll try to take some pictures with some of my favorite ladies while I'm there.  :)
