Carter's birthday recap

So, Carter turned four this past Saturday.  I know, how did that happen!?  Even though Clint had to work, we had a great time especially since my dad and brother came to visit.  How about some photos?

The morning revolved around Carter having to solve clues that would reveal  the next surprise birthday location.  You can tell that he was ready, and pictures, in his opinion, were not necessary.

The first stop was his favorite breakfast spot, Dunkin' Donuts.
(Great for breakfast, not for doughnuts, in my opinion.)

Carter would disagree with that.  He had the usual, chocolate with sprinkles.

The second clue was supposed to lead him to Zooza for some go-cart riding and putt-putt,
but the rainy weather prevented that.  Since we were by The Factory, we headed to Jumping Beans.  Did you know that adults are not supposed to jump around in there?  Well, our family didn't find this out until it was time to leave.

Clue #3 brought us to a place Carter absolutely loves--the bowling alley!

He's a pro!

(This is where we got slack on taking pictures.)  After bowling, we came home and had pizza and cake with friends.  Carter got some awesome gifts like his new red guitar, an iPod Touch (I know, he's only four, but he was hogging our iPad; we bought it used from friends, so calm down.), a new big boy bike, and toys galore.  After Clint left, Dad took us to Crabtree.  Good fun!

Precious boy is getting so big.  It's amazing to see how God is using him, and we're excited to see what He has in store for Carter next!
