day(s) in pictures

I wanted to do a "Day in Pictures" post for this past Friday, but halfway through the day, I either forgot to take pictures or wasn't in a picture-taking mood.  Instead, I decided to throw random pics from the past couple of days in here.  Enjoy!

Carter was excited to be riding in his first go-kart but would have preferred to drive.

In actuality, he got a 12, but we put down a 4.

"Mom, I can't find anything metal, only trash cans!" said a very tired Carter.
"Try harder, buddy," said a mom who didn't want to carry around a metal detector.
(I ended up doing just that.)
