Day in pictures: Beauty in the mistakes

Here's my day in pictures for Wednesday, August 21.  There was a lot of running around and absent-mindedness.  With seasonal changes coming soon at work and school just starting up, this will seem like an easy day weeks from now.  Enjoy!

Before leaving early for my 7:30 class, Cade tries to swipe my get-up-and-go arsenal.

As usual, I'm leaving the house with a million things in my hands (and teeth, sad to say).  My Clint (with full-on Wolverine hair) comes to the rescue.

And look how he surprises me.  :)

Guess I was overwhelmed by the sweet surprise because I locked my keys in the car.  (I seriously did not plan this.)  I texted Clint as I begrudgingly headed to...

class.  (In my opinion, way too bright.)

After Clint loaded the boys into the van and drove from our home in Midtown Raleigh to Wake Forest to come to my rescue (again), I headed to my first account...

where I had to do this because a paper cut (regular hazard of my job) got out of control.  One of the guys at Electronics felt sorry for me and gave me three band aids.  Clint says I really need to wear gloves, but that just wouldn't look cool.

Back home, I do some quick work on the computer while eating,

admire a picture of Abraham Lincoln,

watch Cade swipe from me (again),

and observe a temper tantrum.

Because Dad had to run a quick errand and I was already about to pass out, the boys took advantage of the situation and jumped and wrestled on the bed. (Hey! At least I was in the same room...on the floor...face down.)

Off to account #2 where I had to joy of...

negative adjusting about 1600 cards.  :)

Ready to go! Unfortunately, the rain didn't like my plans.  I told the lady next to me waiting for the rain to let up to call 911 if I fell in the parking lot because I was going to run for it. (I'm not one of those that wait; there would have to be a hurricane for me to wait.)  She laughed and commented on my cute shoes (like ruining my shoes would be the real tragedy--forget cracking my skull open).

Surprise!  Peanut butter and Nutella cookies.  He's so awesome!

After dinner and some goofing off, it was storytime.  They fought to sit on my lap.  The compromise wasn't comfortable for me, but how long will they be like this?

Clint wanted me to TRIM up his hair.  Keep the length, just clean it up.  Well, I kind of messed up on his sideburns, so I had to do this...

OOPS.  Buzz cut it is.
The rest of the evening wasn't too spectacular because I was in snail mode.  Still a good day.
